Hello!

My name is Pam – the owner and operator of Busy Little Bee Quilting & Embroidery – I’m so glad you’re here! This is the result of my journey of self-discovery and love that has culminated in a new business for me that I have been sharing with many new friends through their quilts.

I remember making a navy-blue tank top that was double knit with a white embossed pattern. My mom had a lot of recommendations on how to sew it properly! Through the years I have spun, knitted, and sewn all sorts of things – garments for myself, dresses for my daughter, a few home decor projects and a pair of Raggedy Ann/Andy dolls, blankets, quilts and more! Recently, I found myself with a well-established fabric stash of my own, part of my mother’s stash that was passed down to me and an older Bernina Artista 150 sewing machine looking for a new way to take my creativity to the next level.

One day I stopped in at my local Quality Sewing and Vacuum store with the idea of upgrading my Bernina 150 Artista sewing machine and walked out the proud owner of a Babylock Ellisimo and HandiQuilter Simply with a five-foot Babylock Coronet frame. I loaded up some fabric to start practicing free-motion quilt patterns and have not looked back!

I have since upgraded to my existing equipment, the HandiQuilter Amara 20” throat longarm machine on a Studio II frame with ProStitcher, as well as a four thread Brother serger and a Brother XP 1 upgraded to 3 sewing and embroidering machine. I am having the time of my life and enjoying every day that I am privileged to quilt, sew, and embroider – whether for myself and my family or for others like you! I’m quite certain my mom, in her Heavenly existence, has had a hand in this endeavor.

Along with my love of ALL things sewing, I enjoy playing the piano and violin, singing in my church ensemble, a little gardening, and especially camping with my husband of 40 years, Scott, and our two rambunctious Scottish Terriers, Barney and Freddy. A few days a week you can also find me at my local Quality Sewing and Vacuum working on the sales floor helping others get the equipment they need for their creative sewing projects.

So please, have a look around my website for some inspiration and get in touch so I can help you finish your unfinished project. Let’s have some fun together!

Drop me a note!
